ChangBobby almost bumps into the agents as he appears from around the corner of the hallway the agents are passing.
So, listen, I know you’re still a little shaken up by the whole not feeling your foot thing so if you want I can just do the talking… or maybe you just stay out of the room unless we absolutely need you seeing as how you killed the guy and he’ll probably freak out seeing you there which isn’t so great in front of the cops.
BobbyEveryone turns towards the direction of the door where the Regeneration Pod room is located. Ben walks out of the door and up to the agents.
What the hell are you guys doing here?
Bennett
Us? What about you?
Bobby
I’m here trying to clean up your mess. You shouldn’t be here; you killed the man for God’s sake.
Bennett
Relax. Jason sent us.
Bobby
Jason sent… are you kidding me? What the hell is wrong with him?
Bennett
It’s alright. I’m just here as a backup plan in case things don’t work out so smoothly. Since you’re here, you and Michael can go in and try to convince the guy to keep his mouth shut. This doesn’t have to get complicated.
BenBen walks away to the elevators.
Gentlemen. I’ve been expecting you to show up.
Bennett
What the hell are you doing here, Ben? Is Joe Tyler involved with this?
Ben
This man happens to be my client. Don’t worry; I’ve taken care of everything for you so you don’t have to continue with what you came here for. Mr. Wilson is not going to say a word.
Bobby
What did you tell him, exactly?
Bennett
Bobby, please. There’s a bigger issue here. I thought you worked exclusively for Joe Tyler.
Ben
My clientele is confidential and none of your concern, Mr. Bennett. There is nothing prohibiting me from providing my services to others.
Bennett
Does Joe know this man? Did he arrange for all this?
Ben
I’m afraid I’m not at liberty to discuss this.
Chang
You realize what this means, right? If this man has ties to Joe Tyler then this all leads to him knowing the location of his daughter and abiding a fugitive.
Ben
Mr. Chang, it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t have ties to Mr. Tyler in some way. That doesn’t mean anything. And even he does, you have no proof of these accusations. On top of that, I really doubt any of this matters to you at this point. Do you really want to go up against Joe Tyler over something this personal for it only to backfire in your face? The fact is the situation is dealt with, you’re off the hook, and you should forget about it. If I were you I would be celebrating.

I would agree with you, but he’s actually right. Unfortunately this puts our relationship with Joe on even thinner ice.
Bobby
Joe? Oh no, I wouldn’t dream of going up against him. I agree with Ben one hundred percent on that. I was just saying it sucks we can’t pin this on Lisa Fields to try and get more witnesses on the lookout for her.
Bennett
Well if she went all this way in such a short amount of time she’s got to be somewhere else, but I doubt she left the state in case she feels the need to reunite with her father and son. I’ll call Jason and tell him to try and broadcast the warrant across all of California.
The resistance is meeting in their mall location for their biweekly meetings. All members are careful to ensure they are not followed as they arrive. The group is still unknown to the public.

Alright, folks, we’ve got a lot of topics to cover in this meeting. I know you’re all worried about that recent Protester event in Los Angeles. We will discuss that later on. First, I want to thank Lisa for the information she provided us recently. We’ve analyzed the photos extensively and we are unravelling a whole other world of conspiracies beyond what we’ve known. This is even bigger than we’ve expected but now we can plan and be prepared for what comes next. Again, we’ll have to discuss these things later. Let’s start with the biggest news. Thanks, Nathan. We recently reconnected with our contact from within the FBI facility. I believe before we announce anything we should mention that Adam Fields is actually alive and is being held in that facility.
LisaThe room is filled with gasps of worries.

Yes, but this is far from great news. They have also captured his brother, Daniel. The last time we talked to her she said they were working on some type of Pod. Some enhanced upgrade to the current version. At the time she wasn’t told much as she is just an engineer and was only told of certain details they needed from here. Now the entire team has been informed of their goal – and when I say entire team, I mean that the group has grown four times the size.
SeanThe room starts to get loud. A man Lisa has yet to meet speaks up.
What are they working on? Why are they gathering all these people?

The man I hit with my van? Sure.
Monica
Imagine making an army of him but ten times as powerful and with only one use of the Pod.

So they’re doing all this strictly for military purposes?
Nathan
As far as we know, yes.
Lisa
Am I missing something here? What is everyone talking about? You’re all worried and I don’t know why.
Nathan
Surely you know about the “after-effects”. Has your husband never told you?
Lisa

Well, what about agent Cole Bennett? Surely you know about him.
Lisa
He’s the FBI agent that stood in front of the van, right? I’ve seen him once or twice with my father. I meant to ask why you just ran into him like that. I was pretty surprised by that.
Sean
Isn’t he one of the agents that’s been chasing you? How can you not know?
Lisa
I was told there were people looking for me, I never actually seen them. What is it you’re not telling me?
Nathan
There have been side effects that have been discovered while using Pods. It’s usually very minute changes that nobody notices, but the government certainly noticed. You know that saying “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger?” That’s literally what the Pods do. They take your biggest weaknesses and enhance them after revival. Agent Bennett is in possession of his own personal Pod. He’s actually died countless times and now he’s damn near unstoppable.

Need I remind you that I sent him flying with my van? He’s not so tough.
Nathan
Regardless, the government took notice and it’s secretly one of the reasons they brought these laws into place, to avoid another riot over something else brought on by these Pods.
Lisa
That’s insane! Why would my husband never tell me about this?
Nathan
We don’t know, but it’s true. Has there been anything different about you lately that you couldn’t explain?
Lisa
Actually, my eyesight is better. I seem to no longer need to wear glasses. I also think I’m a little stronger than I used to be.
Sandra
We should test that.
Lisa
How?
Nathan
Later. We have more important issues to discuss. Monica, continue.
Monica
Well, our source also told us that she believes they’ve been trying to threaten Adam to work on these new Pods since if anyone could figure out how to build them, it would be him.
Lisa
More like Lionel; he’s the one who actually designs them.
Monica
We believe they’re laying off Lionel because he’s the CEO of LifeSource and it would cause a media hysteria if he went missing.
Lisa
Then why did they go after Adam?
Monica
We’re not sure but they must of felt he was more valuable to him than Lionel for some reason. Now that they’ve captured Daniel he seems to be finally be working on these new Pods for them.
Lisa
Does my father know about all this?
Nathan
We know your father is connected in some way, but we don’t know to what length.
Lisa
I wouldn’t be surprised, since this is a military funded experiment and he usually makes his millions investing on things like this. I don’t think he would approve of these methods, though. Maybe we should contact him and let him know about all this. He could help stop it.
Nathan
No offence, Lisa, but why would your father want to stop something that creates super soldiers? He’s never stopped experiments like this in the past. Besides, if we don’t know that someone is on the same agenda as this group it’s dangerous to let them in.
Lisa
Even so, I should still talk to him. Besides, my son is with him so I will be contacting him anyways.
Nathan
That’s fine, just choose your words carefully and do so after this meeting. There’s still a lot to discuss.
